Watched the Big Air Women's Finals...looks amazing but I would never ever want anyone I love to attempt these moves.
Thrilled Eileen Gu won after all the hate she's received in US media. I am positive she would not receive so much hate if she were representing a country other than China, or if she were not originally from the US. I also thought it was strange Tessa Ledeaux and Mathilde Gremaud didn't congratulate her, and Tessa appeared to be in tears, such that Eileen had to awkwardly try to console her. I am wondering if Eileen Is not popular among other freestyle skiers because of the choice she made to represent China.
