BTW, Hint, Hint,
Someone should adopt Avonley and Vadim, and make them a nice Fan Fest.

Yes, but I'm thinking of an older team. I think. May be wrong.
But I am not forgetting the Browns
If he tried out with Alison Reed, he could be from any country in the world
Nicer judges/tech panel or are these teams actually going to score higher than the others?
In the JGP thread on FSU, a couple posters say the Browns' coach is 1. from Ukraine, 2. trained in the U.S., 3. skated for Mexico.
Think this must be him:

.
So this is
Alice ROGATNIK / Yehor BARSHAK ISR
FD: "Story of Chess" (from "Chess" musical soundtrack) by Bjoern Andersson; "Prolog" by Bjoern Andersson; "Where I Want to Be" by Bjoern Andersson, performed by Josh Groban; choreo by Maria Tumanovska-Chaika, Anaid Konair
Since it is Chess, they are using black and white for their costumes.
I have never admired this music for skating very much.
And the fact that more steps are allowed between twizzles now is confusing. You think it is going to be a step sequence, but then there are more twizzles.
And of course, at least one twizzly move is included in step sequences these days.
55.22 FD 3rd
95.35 Total. Third of three.
Yes this confuses me too. Yes, there might be a benefit as far as ice coverage doing it with steps, but I just prefer good old fashioned twizzles non-stop.
I personally wouldn't perform to music with lines like "I will stumble and fall".
Ah ha. I wondered whether there was a typo in their bio.
So Lavrik, not Lawrik.
I started a Fan Fest for them.

They are certainly his first team of any consequence, and they were novices last year.
And @Ice Dance does not know him, except via the Browns, so even more likely this is his first team. And they list no previous coach in their bio, so he is The Man.
If he tried out with Alison Reed, he could be from any country in the world
what musical requirement did they violate???
You have to have a clear change of tempo between the two footwork sequences in the FD. (This is, I believe, in part to discourage all the teams from doing both of them to slow music, which is easier to perform clean & earn the levels on). Think the Browns' was found to not have a clear enough change, if any. (I haven't gone back to rewatch).
