Will there be no exhibition? I didnt know where to post this sorry.
There will be an exhibition called Medalist on Ice the day after the men's free, but I'll have to check to see when it starts.

There's so much for me to anticipate and so many intriguing questions that will be answered soon!

First and most importantly of all, will Yuzuru Hanyu be able to land a quadruple axel in competition here? He's landed some attempts in practice, though they haven't been fully rotated. I think he can do it!

The second question that is on my mind is whether Shoma will land a five-quad free skate or not. Considering that he recently had a twisted ankle, it may seem crazy to think that Shoma can pull it off, but as a huge fan of his, I still think he can do it!

Will Yuma Kagiyama do enough to remain on the podium? How will the notoriously chaotic Kao Miura handle being in the final group? Can any other competitors pull off an upset? Will Keiji Tanaka continue to be the most handsome man on ice? (Oh wait, that's not even a question, of course he is, lol)

I might not be able to watch it live, but I can't wait to see what happens!

Practice session reports for the final group of men!

Sena Miyake: Went through the first two jumps, 1A, 3A, 3Lz-3T, 3F (hangs on)
Kao Miura: 4Lo (fall) 4S 4T-3T 1A 4T-1Eu-3F 3A 3A-1Eu (stopped there)
Sota Yamamoto: 4T (fall) 4S (two-footed landing) 3A-2T 3A 3F-3T 3F-1Eu-3S 3Lz
Yuma Kagiyama: 4S, went through the next jump, 4T-3T 3A-1Eu-3S 4T 3F-3Lo, went through the next jump
Shoma Uno: 4Lo (fall), went through the next jump, 4F 3A 4T-3T 4T-2T
3A-1Eu-3F
Yuzuru Hanyu: 1A 2S 3A-2T 3Lo 4T-3T
4T-1Eu-3S 3A

Yuzuru did more before his music started, but I'm not sure how to translate some of it at the moment.

Edit: Before Yuzuru's music happened, he first repeated one part several times.

3Lo 4T-3T 4S 3A
(He then confirmed the movements from the 3A three times in a row... I'm guessing this means he marked the 3A three times?) 3A-3Lo 4T 4S

He then began 4A practice once again.

3A 1A 2A, then the 1A from the beginning of the music.

Yuto's still recovering from injury so I'm not surprised he didn't make the Free (gonna miss the beautiful costume tho)
but Shunsuke Nakamura not qualifying 😞
At least Reo Ishizuka and Takumi Sugiyama qualified 😊

Best of Luck to all the Men competing!

I'll take it easy for the first 2 groups and save some energy for later ones...the only problem is that the last group will be in overlap with the last episode of the Historical drama from NHK tonight...

Kao's crazy. Yolo child. But that's (partly) why I adore him.
Actually, his 4SEu3F is 😍

Curiosity, not judgemental question, NHK doesn't archive their dramas to stream/watch on demand?

There should be, but I'm not in Japan. I do have NHK world channel (the oversea version) on my TV subscription at home, so I can watch that. There will be a re-run of the same episode next week so it will be fine.

Poor Taichiro. We all got excited when he finally gained some consistency two seasons back? Then he lost it again...
Great moves as always
Should've tried Pairs or Dance years ago
