Right, now the Ice Dancers start their campaign. All levels back-to-back. So, since I am eating at the moment, I will do all the reminders in one go.

Each segment has it's own Warm-Up Group. The Novice levels each have 1 partnership, while the Junior and Senior levels each have 2 partnerships.

Senior RD is over. Smart/Diaz are in 1st with 80.7, followed by Hurtado/Khaliavin in 2nd with 79.9

Omg S/D and H/K less than a point apart after the RD. Hopefully S/D can pull off the win. Their FD is so much better and they’ve really been the better team all season (including a GP medal), and Olivia has yet to go to the Olympics and they really deserve it. They were rather screwed over last time too.

Phew. Just about got yesterday's Ice Dance action watched before today's started.

With regards the Seniors, I definitely preferred Olivia and Adrià's Short over Sara and Kirill's.

A thing I was wondering - do you know who is commentating? I wasn't able to catch any introductions at the start of this broadcast.

It may be wishful thinking on my part, but to me the male commentator sounds like Javier Fernandez's voice.

Anyway we are now under way with a cute couple of lions.

I don't remember them from the Nice competition, but I really loved Eloanne OGOR / Raul BERMEJO this weekend.

They seem like really happy people, and are so enthusiastic.

And their skating hasn't been bad either.

I would say that my kids would need to get up to Seniors sooner rather than later, because these two will be chomping at their heels in the next year or two if they don't!
