His spins have gotten a lot better. It's impressive.Wait, that was Malinin??? I didn’t recognize him. That last spin was actually fairly good.
Which two? I only see one.Nice spins from Ilia though!
But wow two French on the podium...nice!
How is it changing?Oh Illya he was landing everything in practice but not in the competition i hope he is not becoming a nervous competitor.
Also while he takes 1st with the gpf qualifying rules changing him not landing so many jumps could come back and hurt him later on.
the reason being a french sounding name i am curious about his rootsOh wait one Frenchman.
I thought Lucas was French for some reason
Maybe, but probably not because junior men are not known for their incredible consistencyOh Illya he was landing everything in practice but not in the competition i hope he is not becoming a nervous competitor.

or seniorReally just a normal freeskate during the JGP.
They're using sum of total points this time due to Russian and Japanese skaters not being able to attend the first 2 JGPsHow is it changing?
Total points instead of placement. I think it will matter more in the junior ladies’ field than the junior men’s.How is it changing?
Well........hopefully the next JGP assignment Ilia does phenomenal both programs. They're using sum of total points this time due to Russian and Japanese skaters not being able to attend the first 2 JGPs
Or I kinda forgot him a bit...sorry Lucas B!the reason being a french sounding name i am curious about his roots
He has grown a LOT since I first saw him on the JGP two years ago He was just a wee lad then. And also, he has grown out his hairWait, that was Malinin??? I didn’t recognize him. That last spin was actually fairly good.
oh lord... i understand the need to do this BUT this is not ideal.... we all know not to compare points from different events.... judging may become a factor in who gets in...They're using sum of total points this time due to Russian and Japanese skaters not being able to attend the first 2 JGPs
